The part most developers skip
Most freelancers hand over a website only they can maintain. That is good business for them and bad business for you.
I do the opposite: with every site I build, the handover includes a plain-English guide to your own pages, written for someone who has never touched code.
You get the keys. If you never want to touch the site, I am happy to make changes for you. But you will never be stuck.
